Instructions: For cold - place in freezer for 2hrs. For warmth - heat in microwave for 30s then further bursts of 10s as required. Do not overheat.

Instructions

Cold Use
▪ Place gel pack in freezer for 2hrs minimum for best results
▪ Touch-test the temperature. Freeze further if necessary
▪ If too cold allow to thaw for a few minutes prior to use

Hot Use
▪ Heat the gel pack in microwave for 30 seconds
▪ Remove and test temperature against skin
▪ Massage the pack to spread the heat evenly
▪ If not hot enough then heat in 10 sec increments

Caution
▪ Heating times are based on 800W microwave
▪ Adjust heating times accordingly to suit the power of your microwave – this may take a few practices to get right
▪ Always heat from room temperature - never from frozen
▪ Microwave the gel pack ONLY - never the fabric cover/wrap
▪ Monitor the gel pack whilst heating - If you observe swelling of the pack turn off the microwave immediately and wait for swelling to subside
▪ Do not sit, lean against or lie on the gel pack as breakage/leakage may occur

I wish that I had known about Gelpacks a lot sooner, it was 10 months after my leg break that my Doctor recommended it, he sent me a link, he had also had a broken leg where the swelling persisted. I've noticed a big difference, usually the next day. I can stay on my feet for longer. The swelling is less. I think that hospitals should recommend it when discharging a fracture patient.

Excellent bit of kit. I’ve suffered from mild plantar fasciitis for years, but was forced to take more positive steps to cure it when it flared up recently. I like the strap which holds the gel pack in place - a good idea - but the gel pack does not freeze sufficiently to stay really cold for any length of time, irrespective of how long it is kept in the freezer. However, it has helped my ankle when it is swollen following surgery.

I've had my Gel pack for a coupe of weeks now and am really pleased with it. The main reason for purchase was because i have beeen suffering from Plantar Facia pain in my left foot, and have been training for my first Marathon. Since using the Gel pack after running the plantar has reduced significantly. It's easy to pop the Gel pack from the freezer into it's cloth sleeve, and the long elasticated strap makes it simple to strap onto my foot. I've also started using it on other muscles in my legs after running and believe it is halping my recovery times improve. I haven't usd the warm option yet, but based on my experience so far I would recommend this product if you are looking for a good quality, easy to use Gel pack.

These things are fantastic - I’ve now learnt to let them thaw slightly after a trip in the freezer, they’re super super cold. Seem really well made and fit great, straps keep them snug on my angle. The only thing I’m not sure about is how long the Velcro fastening will last, they appear a little flimsy - time will tell. Overall though, very highly recommended and great quality product

A good idea but - it doesn’t fit tightly around the ankle very well. The elastic stretches too much to compress the gel pad despite going around more than once. This means that there is a slight gap between the skin and the pad.
