Instructions
Cold Use
▪ Place gel pack in freezer for 2hrs minimum for best results
▪ Touch-test the temperature. Freeze further if necessary
▪ If too cold allow to thaw for a few minutes prior to use
Hot Use
▪ Heat the gel pack in microwave for 30 seconds
▪ Remove and test temperature against skin
▪ Massage the pack to spread the heat evenly
▪ If not hot enough then heat in 10 sec increments
Caution
▪ Heating times are based on 800W microwave
▪ Adjust heating times accordingly to suit the power of your microwave – this may take a few practices to get right
▪ Always heat from room temperature - never from frozen
▪ Microwave the gel pack ONLY - never the fabric cover/wrap
▪ Monitor the gel pack whilst heating - If you observe swelling of the pack turn off the microwave immediately and wait for swelling to subside
▪ Do not sit, lean against or lie on the gel pack as breakage/leakage may occur

Very comfortable way of getting ice packs in situ to reduce inflammation and pain after a total knee replacement. Using a folded clean tea towel between knee and this product can help if the cold is a little too much at first, and also makes it possible to position one pack behind the knee and one on the top of the knee in the pocket.
I have found icing the joint a powerful action to reduce pain and stiffness post-operatively and I am grateful to have found an effective way of doing so
I had arthroscopy surgery 4 days ago, for a torn meniscus, and I haven’t needed to take any painkillers. I just put the gelpack on every few hours to reduce the swelling and ease any pain. Am recovering from partial meniscectomy of my knee. Waited 1.5yrs for the op. Success will be due to excellent surgeon and physio and post op regular icing. I must ice every 2 hrs after exercise to reduce the swelling. These knee sleeves are so easy to strap on and I keep spare gel packs in the freezer. I also used a longer strap general pack for a painful back episode which is safer than using a hot water bottle. As a health care worker I strapped it on under my uniform and it got me through the day!

Quick delivery and the product works well. Putting the gel pack in a sleeve is preferable to the packs you put straight on, or awkwardly insulated with a towel.
Just the job!
Does what it says on the tin and very well. A mesh fabric on the inside minimises the insulation effect thus delivering maximum cold to where it's needed. The gel pad is large and probably stretches about 60% round my knee - check the measurements though as obviously everyone's knees are different! The pouch is also sufficiently large enough that it's easy to insert and remove the gel pad, without being so big you can't secure the pad. I bought this and another slightly dearer one and prefer this one TBH - the gel seems to stay colder for a lot longer too.

I ordered 2 of these for a relative to use after a full knee replacement. I ordered 2 further knee sized pads so that they can be alternated with 2 in use and 2 in the freezer.
They are strong, well made and come with a sleeve that when fixed in place acts as light compression.
The ice lasts for a good 20 minutes which is approximately the recommended length of time though they do retain some coolness after that.
Definitely recommend these.

Strap isnt long enough, hard to put on and Velcro in place , needs to have a longer strap so you can wrap it a few times and tighten it like other brands have
